Join a mission-driven flight team operating the Beechcraft Super King Air on permanent assignment. We’re seeking a type-rated Captain with a DoD SECRET (or higher) clearance, proven multi-engine turbine experience, and the professionalism to execute challenging OCONUS operations safely and smoothly. 🧭 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command on Beechcraft Super King Air missions, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Plan and execute flight operations across diverse environments, including OCONUS theaters, in accordance with FAA, company, and DoD/contractual requirements.
- Lead all phases of flight: performance planning, weight and balance, risk assessment, weather/NOTAM review, fuel strategy, and alternates.
- Operate advanced avionics (Pro Line 21 and/or Garmin G1000) with strong systems knowledge and disciplined checklist use.
- Exercise sound ADM/CRM, mentor crewmembers, and partner closely with maintenance and mission teams to maximize aircraft availability and mission readiness.
- Maintain impeccable logs, training currency, and documentation aligned with program and regulatory standards.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- PIC in Type: 300 hours (Beechcraft Super King Air)
- Type Rating: Beechcraft Super King Air (required)
- Licenses: CPL with IR and ME
- Medical: FAA Class 2
- Avionics Experience: Pro Line 21 and/or Garmin G1000
- Clearance: Active DoD SECRET or higher
🌟 Preferred Experience
- 2,500 hours PIC
- 500 hours Multi-Engine
- 200 hours Instrument (actual)
- 500 hours Turbine
- ATP (Airline Transport Pilot); rating current and held for the last two consecutive years
- Background as U.S. Military, Customs, DEA Pilot, US Contracting ISR Pilot
- U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Pilot experience
- Prior OCONUS rotation experience, especially within current area of operation
🛡️ Additional Requirements
- Current passport and valid state driver’s license
- BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience (additional experience may substitute for degree)
- Ability to meet all contractual/program training and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel
- Ability to meet COVID testing requirements as applicable
- Attend and successfully complete CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) within 90 days of hire
📡 Avionics & Systems
- Collins Pro Line 21: flight planning, FMS, automation, and situational awareness proficiency
- Garmin G1000: integrated avionics, automation management, and abnormal/emergency procedures
- Strong checklist discipline, SOP adherence, and data-driven decision making
