Based near Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport (KBKL), you’ll operate the Beechcraft Premier IA (RA-390) and be a vital link between expert medical teams and the patients who depend on timely, professional air transport.

🧭 Your mission

  • Review assigned flight missions in advance to ensure safe, efficient execution.
  • Prepare the aircraft for daily operations: cleanliness, mission configuration, and stocking all required supplies.
  • Complete all pre-flight requirements: weather briefings, weight-and-balance calculations, performance planning, and Part 135 compliance checks.
  • Continuously monitor weather and forecast changes; update plans as conditions evolve.
  • Operate in full compliance with Aery Aviation’s General Operations Manual (GOM) and FAA Part 135 regulations.
  • Engage professionally with charter clients, medical teams, patients, coworkers, and vendors to deliver a calm, compassionate experience.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and monthly/quarterly safety and training events with hospital partners.
  • Maintain required certifications, medical knowledge, and industry awareness to uphold best practices.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • License: ATP (unrestricted) and First-Class FAA Medical.
  • Type rating: Turbojet type rating with minimum 500 hours time-in-type in the RA-390 (Beechcraft Premier IA).
  • Total time: 3,000+ hours total fixed-wing flight time.
  • Regulatory knowledge: Strong knowledge of CFR Part 135; prior FAA Part 135 or Flight Instructor experience.
  • Record: No FAA violations or accident history.
  • Credentials: Current U.S. passport and valid driver’s license.
  • Clearances: Ability to pass DOT drug testing and criminal background check.
  • Skills: Excellent Crew Resource Management (CRM) and clear, compassionate communication.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Management, or related field.
  • Physical: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Location: Reside within, or be willing to relocate within, two (2) hours of KBKL.
