Take command of the Beechcraft 1900 on impactful regional charter operations. This permanent role is ideal for a type-rated Captain who thrives on precision, independence, and periodic deployments to challenging environments.

  • Location: Johannesburg-based; charter from Lanseria (FALA)
  • Contract Rotations: Willing to deploy for 6–9 week assignments
  • Travel: Includes high-risk areas

🧭 Your Mission

  • Command Beechcraft 1900 charter flights across regional routes, including operations to high-risk destinations.
  • Lead flight planning, performance, fuel, and W&B to exacting standards.
  • Execute precise, timely departures and arrivals while remaining deadline-driven and safety-first.
  • Operate independently within company SOPs and regulatory frameworks (ICAO).
  • Maintain meticulous tech logs, post-flight reporting, and documentation.
  • Fly charter from Lanseria when Johannesburg-based; support 6–9 week contract deployments as required.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Total Time: 1,500 hours minimum
  • PIC Time: 750 hours minimum (PIC)
  • Time in Type: 450 hours total; 250 hours PIC in type
  • Type Rating: Required — Beechcraft 1900
  • Licences: CPL with IR and ME (ICAO accepted)
  • Medical: Class 2
  • English Proficiency: ELP Level 4
  • Preferred: ATP advantageous
  • Attributes: Deadline-driven, accurate, independent, great attention to detail, self-disciplined, trustworthy and dependable; own reliable transport
  • Flexibility: Willing to travel to high-risk areas; able to support 6–9 week contract deployments; able to fly charter ex-Lanseria if JHB-based
