BAe Jetstream 31/32 First Officer (Non-Type Rated Welcome)

✈️ The opportunity

As a First Officer with AIS Airlines, you will fly multi-crew turboprop operations across Europe under EASA regulations. External candidates complete the AIS Bridge Course followed by a Jetstream 31/32 Type Rating before line flying. Former AIS students and low-hour pilots are encouraged to apply.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Operate the BAe Jetstream 31/32 as First Officer on European routes.
• Execute all phases of flight in a multi-crew environment to EASA standards.
• Apply robust CRM, threat and error management, and SOP adherence.
• Support preflight planning, performance, and mass and balance calculations.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and customer service throughout each sector.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• EU citizen or unrestricted and unlimited right to work in the Netherlands.
• Valid passport with no restrictions; able to pass security background checks.
• EASA Part-FCL frozen ATPL with ME-IR and MCC (integrated or modular paths accepted).
• Minimum LPE Level 5 endorsed on licence.
• Valid Part-MED Class 1 medical.
• Valid car driver's license.
• Commitment to self-fund required training (see Training Pathway).

🎓 Training pathway

• AIS Bridge Course (external candidates only): €5,000.
• Type Rating Course — BAe Jetstream 31/32: €25,000.
• Training delivered at AIS Airlines head office; employment commences after successful completion of all required training and checks.
• Upon completion, receive a guaranteed one-year First Officer contract.

Note: Training is self-funded by the candidate.
