🧭 The Mission

As an ATR 72 First Officer, you will support the Captain in delivering safe, efficient, and on-time cargo operations within the FedEx Canada network. You’ll apply disciplined airmanship, exceptional CRM, and strong procedural compliance to every phase of flight in Western Canada’s dynamic operating environment.

• Execute all flight phases in accordance with company SOPs, Transport Canada regulations, and aircraft limitations.
• Participate in thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance for cargo operations.
• Maintain high standards of situational awareness, checklist discipline, and crew coordination.
• Collaborate with dispatch, ramp, and FedEx partners to ensure reliable, time-critical movements.
• Champion a safety-first culture, including robust threat and error management and sound decision-making.
• Manage operations in diverse conditions, including night and winter operations common to the region.
• Complete post-flight documentation and maintain training and currency requirements.

🧰 What You Bring

• Total Time: 1000 hours minimum
• License: TCCA licence with IATRA and IR
• Medical: Class 1
• Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
• Type Rating: Not required — training provided on the ATR 72

🧾 Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain an airport RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card)
• Valid passport
• Valid driver’s licence
• IATRA written and passed within the previous 2 years
• Open to TCCA licence holders
