As an ATR Captain, you will lead safe, efficient operations in accordance with Company Operating Manuals while delivering smart, practical economies on every flight. This is a contract opportunity to fly a proven regional workhorse—and make a measurable impact from day one.

✈️ About the role

In this fixed-term position, you will operate ATR aircraft and report to the Fleet Manager, ATR. You will be accountable for the safety of flight, strict adherence to SOPs and regulations, and for effecting all reasonably possible economies—without compromise to safety or performance—on each assigned sector.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Exercise command of ATR operations in full compliance with Company Operating Manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion safety, CRM, and disciplined SOP execution in a multi-crew environment.
  • Plan and conduct flights with an efficiency mindset—applying prudent fuel, time, and cost-saving practices.
  • Lead pre- and post‑flight briefings; coordinate effectively with dispatch, cabin crew, and ground teams.
  • Complete performance calculations, documentation, and reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain currency; complete recurrent training and proficiency checks as required.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • License: ATPLICAO or TTCAA.
  • Total Time: 3000+ hours.
  • PIC Time: 1000+ hours.
  • Flight Time Notes: Minimum of 3000 hrs including 1000 hrs P1/P1 U/S on a multi‑engine, multi‑crew turboprop or jet aircraft.
  • Type Rating: Not required — NTR candidates welcome (training provided).
  • Medical: Class 1.
  • English Proficiency: ELP Level 4 or higher.

🌟 Selection and compliance

  • You must successfully complete a Caribbean Airlines’ Medical Examination.
  • You must obtain a satisfactory assessment by the Caribbean Airlines’ pilot selection board, to include English fluency as a requirement for ATC.
  • You must successfully complete a security background check.
  • You must successfully complete the Company’s training and Proficiency Checks.
  • You must obtain a valid medical assessment in accordance with TTCAA requirements; such assessments shall not be valid for more than 12 months.

Engagement: Your engagement with the Airline will be for a fixed term, on a contract basis.
