🧰 What you’ll do

Exercise full command on ATR 72 operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and passenger care.
Lead flight preparation, performance planning, W&B, fuel strategy, and operational decision-making.
Uphold SOPs, SMS, and regulatory requirements across all phases of flight.
Coach and mentor First Officers; foster a focused, collaborative flight deck culture.
Engage in recurrent training, line checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

🧭 Minimum qualifications

License: Unrestricted ATPL (ICAO accepted)
Medical: Class 1
English: ICAO ELP Level 5 or higher
Type Rating: Current and valid on ATR 72
Total Time: Minimum 4,000 hours on EASA Part 25 aircraft
PIC on Type: Minimum 1,000 hours on ATR 72
Time on Type: Minimum 500 hours as primary crew
Recency: At least 150 hours in the last 12 months on type

📚 Additional requirements

Academic Qualifications: One of the following:
- School Certificate with minimum Grade B in Mathematics & Physics, or
- Final Secondary Education Certificate with Mathematics and Physics, or
- Degree in a field of Science
Travel Documents: Valid passport
Background Check: Valid Certificate of Character or Police Clearance from country of residence
Assessment: Ability to pass the Air Mauritius Technical Examination
