Join KF Aerospace as we transition our Vancouver base to an ATR 72-500 fleet supporting the Purolator BC Feeder Service—an operation extended through 2035. Enjoy weekday flying, predictable routes across British Columbia, and the rare luxury of returning to YVR most evenings.

  • Base: Richmond, BC (Vancouver International Airport, YVR)
  • Operation: Scheduled air cargo — Purolator BC Feeder Service
  • Fleet: ATR 72-500
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, home nightly; ~12–14 flying days/month; most weekends & statutory holidays off
  • Primary Routes: YVR to YYJ, YKA, YXS, YLW; occasional U.S. as required
  • Contract Horizon: Feeder service extended to 2035

✈️ The Opportunity

We’re seeking experienced Captains to lead ATR 72-500 cargo operations from YVR. If you value stable weekday flying, strong safety culture, and a supportive team with long-term program security, this is your next great command.

🧭 Your Mission

  • Operate as Captain on the ATR 72-500 for scheduled cargo feeder routes across BC, with occasional U.S. operations.
  • Exercise PIC authority to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations under Transport Canada regulations and company SOPs/SMS.
  • Lead and coordinate with crew, ground, and operations teams to deliver on-time performance and superior cargo handling.
  • Conduct thorough flight planning, weather evaluation, and performance calculations; make sound operational decisions in dynamic environments.
  • Represent KF Aerospace professionally with customers, partners, and airport stakeholders.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
  • Multi-Engine and Group 1 Instrument Ratings.
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total time.
  • Preference for transport-category turbine or turbojet experience.
  • Strong advantage for ATR 72-qualified Captains (current AT72 PPC).
  • Valid Canadian passport or Canadian work permit; eligible to operate to the United States and other network countries.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC); no unpardoned criminal convictions.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per company policy and operational requirements.

📅 Schedule & Routes

Operate Monday through Friday on established feeder routes, typically returning to YVR each evening. Expect approximately 12–14 flying days per month with most weekends and statutory holidays off, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
