🧭 About the role

As an ATR 42 First Officer, you’ll support the Captain through all phases of flight, upholding the highest safety, regulatory, and customer standards. You’ll practice strong CRM, follow SOPs with precision, and foster a positive, professional cockpit culture.

  • Lead thorough pre-flight preparations, briefings, and exterior inspections.
  • Execute departures, en‑route, and approach procedures under IFR and VFR as required.
  • Monitor aircraft systems, performance, and weather; take timely, safety‑focused actions.
  • Communicate clearly with ATC, dispatch, ramp, and cabin teams in a multi‑crew environment.
  • Complete accurate post‑flight documentation and debriefs.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Valid TCCA IATRA, IR, and ME qualifications.
  • Current Class 1 Medical and ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew; strong CRM and teamwork.
  • Effective problem‑solving skills with calm, professional decision‑making in difficult situations.
  • Ability to travel; must hold a valid Canadian passport.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a restricted area pass through WAA.
  • Must meet all Transport Canada security clearance regulations.
  • Right to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not provided.
