GlobalX is hiring full-time Captains to lead safe, efficient, and timely aircraft operations from Miami, Harlingen, Alexandria, or Mesa. The role blends command responsibility with safety leadership, collaborative one-crew teamwork, and customer-focused communication—building loyalty and trust through respectful, authentic interactions.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command, accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the safety of crew and passengers.
  • Verify aircraft airworthiness and evaluate operational factors such as weather, performance data, and NOTAMs for each flight.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations and procedures, including FAR Part 121 and air traffic control procedures.
  • Use all available tools and aids to maximize safety in the air and on the ground; demonstrate ownership of safety in every decision and behavior.
  • Lead with a humble, one-crew mindset—fostering teamwork, mentorship, and collaboration across the operation.
  • Communicate directly and authentically with customers to build loyalty and trust.
  • Duties and responsibilities may change and are not limited to the activities listed.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Certificates: Valid FAA Airmen Certificate, FAA First Class Medical, and FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
  • Time requirements: Minimum 4,000 hours total time, plus either:
    • 1,000 jet hours as Pilot in Command under a Part 121 certificate; or
    • 1,500 jet hours as Pilot in Command under a Part 135 certificate.
  • Regulatory: Meets the requirements of FAR 121.436.
  • Type rating: Airbus A320 type rating preferred.
  • Work authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Travel: Able to maintain a valid passport and travel without restriction to and from the United States.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written English skills.
  • Physical demands and vision: Regularly talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, handle objects, and reach with hands/arms; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs; occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs; close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with ability to adjust focus.
