🧭 The opportunity

As a Second Officer on the A320 family, you will support the flight deck across all phases of flight while honing your technical, procedural, and CRM skills in a high-performance airline environment. This permanent role is designed for pilots with a frozen ATPL seeking a structured pathway, including type rating and progression opportunities aligned with company standards and operational needs.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Assist with preflight planning, performance calculations, and FMS setup; execute checklists and flows in accordance with SOPs.
  • Monitor aircraft systems and flight progress; communicate effectively with the Captain and First Officer to maintain shared situational awareness.
  • Champion safety: apply emergency procedures, contribute to safety reporting, and demonstrate exemplary CRM and threat/error management.
  • Use Microsoft Office, internet, and web research tools to compile briefings and maintain accurate operational documentation.
  • Adhere to regulatory and company requirements, meeting First Officer technical and behavioral benchmarks set to DAC and Air Arabia standards.

🌟 What you bring

  • License: Appropriate MPL or CPL with frozen ATPL is essential, including valid IR and ME.
  • Assessments: Ability to pass the technical and psychometric assessment for First Officer per Air Arabia/DAC standards.
  • Safety & emergency: Training in safety and emergency response is essential; a formal qualification is an advantage.
  • Technical skills: Good working knowledge of aircraft systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet, and web search tools.
  • Language: ELP Level 4+ (ICAO).
  • Medical: Valid Class 1 medical.
  • Eligibility: Open to ICAO license holders; visa sponsorship is not available.

📈 Training and progression

Non‑type‑rated pilots receive a full A320 type rating and company conversion training. You’ll follow a structured syllabus designed to build line proficiency and prepare you to meet First Officer standards, subject to performance, recency, and operational requirements.
