Airbus A320 Captain – Direct Entry (Type-Rated)

🧭 Your mission

As Captain on the Airbus A320 family, you’ll set the tone on the flight deck—prioritising safety, leading by example, and enabling your crew to perform at their best. You will:

• Exercise overall responsibility for flight safety, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making.
• Lead the crew with clear, open communication and collaborative CRM.
• Apply structured, analytical thinking to plan, brief, and execute every sector efficiently.
• Manage abnormal and stressful situations with calm judgement and initiative.
• Champion a just culture and continuous improvement across the operation.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• Total Time: 5,000 hours total time on Commercial Air Transport (CAT) in aircraft with MTOW above 40 tonnes
• PIC on Type: 1,000 hours on A320 family
• Type Rating: A320 family (current)
• Currency: Last flight on A320 within the preceding 12 months
• Licence: ATPL
• Accepted Licences: EASA
• Medical: Class 1
• English Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
