🧭 The Opportunity
As a Direct Entry Captain on the A320 family, you will lead safe, efficient operations in alignment with Japanese scheduled airline standards, mentor flight crew, and uphold exemplary CRM and SOP compliance. Your command experience within Japan’s scheduled airline environment and fluency in Japanese will be central to smooth cockpit, cabin, and ATC coordination.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Command Experience: Previous Captain with a Japanese scheduled airline
- PIC Time: 1,000+ hours
- Jet Time: 1,000+ hours
- Flight Time Note: Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on a jet aircraft
- License: Valid JCAB ATPL
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: Fluent Japanese; ICAO English Level 4 or higher
- Radio: Air radio operator license (or equivalent/higher)
- Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship not available; must already have the right to work in Japan
- Type Rating: A320 not required (NTR welcome; training provided)
🌟 Training & Transition
Non–type-rated Captains are encouraged to apply. A comprehensive A320 transition program will be provided, including ground school, simulator training, and line training to standardize you on the Airbus flight deck and operating procedures within a Japanese scheduled airline environment.
