Step into the left seat on the Airbus A320 and lead safe, efficient operations with an airline environment you already know well. If you are a seasoned JCAB Captain with proven experience in Japan-based commercial operations, this permanent role offers a smooth transition onto the A320 with full training provided for non-type-rated pilots.
🧰 Your day-to-day
- Command A320 flights with uncompromising safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Lead the flight deck, champion CRM, and mentor First Officers.
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, JCAB regulations, and company policies.
- Exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments using TEM and data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee preflight planning, performance calculations, and thorough briefings/debriefings.
- Promote a just culture and contribute to continuous improvement in flight operations.
🌟 What you'll bring (minimum requirements)
- Experience: PIC Time: 500+ hours as Pilot-in-Command, specifically within a Japan-based commercial airline.
- Additional Requirement: Previous experience in Japan-based airlines.
- License: Valid ATPL issued by JCAB.
- Medical: Current Class 1 medical certificate.
- English Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
- Type Rating: Not required — A320 training provided.
- Right to Work: Visa sponsorship is not provided; you must be able to meet employment eligibility independently.
