✈️ A350 XWB First Officer — Direct Entry
Air Mauritius is inviting experienced, type‑rated Airbus pilots to join as permanent Direct Entry First Officers on the A350 XWB. Visa sponsorship is provided.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the A350 XWB as First Officer in accordance with company SOPs and applicable regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, fuel management, and debriefing duties.
- Manage flight deck automation, navigation, and systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Apply robust CRM and TEM principles, maintaining the highest safety standards at all times.
- Complete required training, checks, and records to maintain regulatory and company currency.
- Uphold a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with local authority requirements.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- License: Valid ATPL; ICAO license holders accepted.
- Medical: Class 1
- English: ELP Level 5
- Type rating: Current jet type rating on either Airbus A320, A330, A340, A350, or A380, with a minimum of 500 hours on type
- Currency: 150 hours in the last 12 months on type
- In type: 500 hours
- Multi‑engine: 1500 hours
- Turbine: 1500 hours
- Airframe category: Minimum 1500 hours on EASA Part 25 aircraft
📑 Additional requirements & compliance
- Final Secondary Education Certificate including Mathematics or Physics
- Successful completion of the Air Mauritius Technical Examination
- Candidates shall meet the requirements of the local authorities
