✈️ Role at a glance
- Operate the Airbus A330 as First Officer within a high‑performance, safety‑driven operation.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills and sound judgment across all phases of flight.
- Work within rigorous SOPs and regulatory frameworks, maintaining exemplary CRM and communication standards.
- Participate in recurrent training and successfully complete any required technical examinations.
🧭 Minimum flight experience
- In type: 500 hours (on current jet type listed below)
- Multi‑engine: 1,500 hours
- Turbine: 1,500 hours
- EASA airframe category: Minimum 1,500 hours on EASA Part 25 aircraft
- Current jet type rating: A320, A330, A340, A350, or A380 with at least 500 hours on that type
- Currency: 150 hours on type in the last 12 months
🧰 Licensing & compliance
- License: ATPL
- Open to license holders: ICAO
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 5
- Education: Final Secondary Education Certificate including Mathematics or Physics
- Examination: Candidates must pass an Air Mauritius Technical Examination
- Regulatory: Must meet all local authority requirements
Type rating is required; A330 rating preferred. Candidates should be prepared to evidence recency and flight time via logbooks.
