As an A330 First Officer, you will operate long- and medium-haul services, uphold the highest safety and compliance standards, and deliver a polished, passenger-focused experience. You will join a collaborative, multicultural team that values precision, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
🧭 What You Will Do
- Execute all flight phases on the Airbus A330 in accordance with company SOPs and international regulations.
- Conduct meticulous flight preparation: performance, fuel, weather, NOTAMs, MEL/CDL, and route planning.
- Lead with a safety-first mindset, supporting effective crew resource management and decision-making.
- Monitor aircraft systems and performance, proactively managing threats and errors.
- Deliver professional, courteous interactions with customers and colleagues, enhancing the onboard experience.
- Maintain currency, technical knowledge, and adherence to operational excellence standards.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Type Rating: Airbus A330 type rating required.
- Total Time: Minimum 1500 hours on EASA PART 25 transport category aircraft.
- Current Jet Time: Minimum 500 hours on EASA PART 25 jet aircraft (current jet type rating).
- Recency: At least 150 hours in the last 12 months on type.
- License: Valid ATPL (ICAO license holders welcome).
- Medical: Current Class 1 medical.
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
🎓 Education Requirements
Please meet one of the following:
- Pass School Certificate (or equivalent) with a minimum Grade B in Mathematics; or
- Pass School Certificate (or equivalent) and hold a valid ATPL; or
- Pass Final Secondary Education Certificate with Mathematics or Physics.
🧪 Assessments & Compliance
- Candidates must pass an Air Mauritius Technical Examination.
- Further selection steps may include simulator evaluation, technical and HR interviews, reference checks, and medical verification in line with regulatory standards.
