✈️ About the Programme
The SriLankan Airlines Cadet Pilot Programme offers aspiring aviators a structured pathway to an airline cockpit. You’ll train through our Approved Training Organization (ATO), build disciplined flight-deck skills, and develop the professional standards required of a future First Officer.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Undergo airline-standard ground and flight training via SriLankan Airlines’ ATO.
- Train alongside experienced aviation professionals and adopt best-practice cockpit procedures.
- Demonstrate strong CRM, communication, and teamwork to support a high-performing flight operations culture.
- Progress toward the skills and mindset required to operate safely and efficiently in a multi-crew environment.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Current Sri Lankan Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with Instrument Rating.
- ATPL knowledge endorsement (fATPL) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL).
- Multi-Engine Aircraft Rating on a CAASL or acceptable foreign licence.
- CAASL Class 1 Medical Certificate valid for at least one month beyond 21 September 2026.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4+.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
- Sri Lankan citizenship and age not exceeding 35 years as at 21 September 2026.
- Exposure to information technology, fluency in English, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Timing note: Your Sri Lankan CPL must be in your possession by 21 September 2026.
