🧭 About the role
As a Cessna 408 SkyCourier Captain, you’ll lead safe, efficient cargo operations across MAC’s FedEx feeder network. You’ll operate in IFR environments, day and night, while collaborating closely with dispatch, maintenance, and ramp teams to deliver reliable on-time performance.
- Command the C408 SkyCourier on scheduled cargo routes within MAC’s network.
- Apply disciplined airmanship, SOPs, and regulatory compliance under Part 121 & Part 135.
- Manage performance planning, W&B, fuel, and risk assessments across varied weather and terrain.
- Lead flight deck decision-making and mentor a safety-first culture.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance to keep the mission moving safely and efficiently.
- Maintain currency, training records, and professional standards at all times.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,800 hours
- Pilot-in-Command: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 300 hours
- Turbine: 100 hours (exceptions may be made based on prior experience)
- Cross-Country: 500 hours
- Night: 100 hours
- Instrument: 100 hours (at least 75 in aircraft)
- License: CPL with ME
- Open to License Holders: FAA
- Medical: First Class
- ELP: ICAO Level 4 or higher
- Visa Sponsorship: Not provided
