🧭 What you’ll fly and do
Operate across a variety of aircraft types and mission profiles as operational needs dictate. You’ll exercise sound judgement in IFR and mountainous terrain, contributing to a safe, efficient operation throughout the season.
- Conduct line operations across assigned aircraft after completion of company training and checks.
- Plan and execute flights under IFR and, where applicable, multi‑engine operations.
- Apply proven mountain flying techniques to manage weather, performance, and terrain considerations.
- Uphold SOPs, regulatory requirements, and high standards of airmanship.
- Collaborate with dispatch and maintenance to optimize aircraft readiness and on‑time performance.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 2,000 hours
- PIC time: 1,000 hours
- PIC IFR: Minimum 500 hours
- Multi‑engine PIC: Minimum 500 hours (where applicable)
- Seaplane rating: Valid rating with 250 hrs PIC (where applicable)
- Mountain flying: Demonstrated experience required
- License: Unrestricted ATPL — TCCA holders welcome
- Medical: Class 1 current
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
🌟 Training and onboarding
No type rating required. You’ll receive comprehensive aircraft‑specific and route training, followed by company checks to standard. Recurrent training will be provided for the duration of the seasonal contract.
