✈️ The Opportunity
Seaplane Asia Group is expanding premium amphibious operations and is recruiting experienced Captains to operate the Cessna 208EX Amphibian as PIC. You’ll deliver safe, memorable journeys across some of the most stunning waterways in Southeast Asia, supporting operations in Thailand and Indonesia while being based in Bangkok.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Operate premium seaplane services as PIC on the Cessna 208EX Amphibian, adhering to company SOPs and safety standards.
- Execute all phases of amphibious flight operations, including water takeoff/landing, docking, and beachfront transfers where applicable.
- Manage flight planning, performance, weight and balance, and weather/route assessments for coastal and island environments.
- Provide exceptional passenger care and represent the brand’s service ethos throughout each journey.
- Complete operational documentation and any additional duties as assigned by the COO.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Valid Cessna SET C208 seaplane rating (C208EX Amphibian).
- Last flight on type within the previous 12 months.
- Over 2,000 hours total time.
- Minimums within the above:
- 500 hours on C208 or equivalent SET.
- Demonstrated water operations experience.
- 1,000 hours total time (including C208 Amphibian experience).
- Valid ATPL or CPL (or equivalent), with current Class 1 Medical.
- Valid Instrument Rating.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5.
🌟 Desirable
- FI, FE, CRI, or CRE.
- FAA or EASA licence.
- Additional SET ratings.
- Experience across various amphibious seaplane types.
