✈️ The role

As Captain on the Saab 340, you will lead safe, efficient flight operations in accordance with company SOPs and EASA regulations, mentor the flight deck, and deliver reliable service across the RAF-AVIA network.

  • Command Saab 340 operations, ensuring the highest safety and compliance standards.
  • Plan and execute flights, including performance, fuel, and weather considerations.
  • Lead and coordinate with flight and ground crews; foster a just and professional safety culture.
  • Maintain currency, take part in training and checks, and support continuous improvement.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • EASA ATPL (A) and Class 1 medical.
  • Valid Saab 340 type rating with at least 500 block hours on type.
  • Minimum 1,500 total block hours.
  • Valid IR(A) and ME.
  • ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 minimum (Level 5/6 preferred).
  • Valid EU passport.
  • Clean Criminal Record Certificate (valid 5 years per Latvian law).
  • Current résumé/CV with a verifiable 5-year employment history.
