Saab 340 Captain (Direct Entry) – Vancouver/YVR

✈️ About the role

Command the Saab 340 on scheduled regional services throughout BC’s coast and interior. You’ll fly some of the most scenic routes in Canada while enjoying a People First culture, competitive compensation, a collaborative team environment, and the work-life balance to pursue passions beyond the flight deck.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Minimum 2,000 hours total time
• Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command
• At least 1,000 hours of relevant experience (multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR and/or turbine) in Canadian CARs 702/703/704/705 operations
• Valid Canadian ATPL and Category 1 Medical
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
• Legal right to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit)
• Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb (23 kg) unassisted

• Lead safe, efficient Saab 340 operations to regional BC destinations, adhering to company SOPs and regulatory standards
• Foster a professional multi-crew environment; mentor First Officers and collaborate closely with ground and cabin teams
• Execute IFR operations in diverse coastal and mountainous conditions using sound airmanship and decision-making
• Champion threat and error management, and optimize fuel, time, and passenger experience
• Represent Pacific Coastal Airlines with exceptional professionalism on the flight deck and on the ramp
