Saab 340 Direct Entry Captain — Vancouver (YVR)

Command the Saab 340 across a diverse regional network, delivering safe, efficient, and on-time operations while setting the tone for professionalism and crew cohesion.

• Lead safe, compliant operations under IFR and VFR across varied terrain and weather.
• Exercise sound judgment in all phases of flight; champion SOPs, checklists, and SMS principles.
• Mentor and develop First Officers, fostering a high-performance, learning-focused cockpit.
• Coordinate effectively with Dispatch, Maintenance, and Stations to ensure operational excellence.

• Total Time: 2,000 hours
• PIC Time: 1,000 hours
• Relevant Experience: 1,000 hours (multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR, and/or turbine) in 600/702/703/704/705 operation
• Licence: TCCA ATPL
• Medical: Class 1
• Language Proficiency: Minimum ICAO ELP Level 4

• Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.
• Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions.
• As visa sponsorship is not provided, candidates should already be eligible to work in Canada.

Type rating not required—training provided. You'll complete structured ground school, simulator training, and line indoctrination on the Saab 340, ensuring you're set up for success from day one.
