🧭 About the role
As a Saab 340 Captain with Pacific Coastal Airlines, you will lead safe, efficient, and on-time operations across our regional network. You will set the tone for professionalism on the flight deck, model excellent CRM, and deliver the friendly service our passengers count on.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Command Saab 340 operations in accordance with company SOPs, the CARs, and all applicable regulations.
- Exercise sound judgment and leadership in all phases of flight, with an unwavering focus on safety.
- Plan and execute flights in IFR and VFR environments, including adverse weather decision-making.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-flight activities: briefings, fuel planning, performance calculations, and documentation.
- Foster an open, communicative cockpit culture and mentor crew members to the highest professional standards.
- Participate in recurrent training and safety programs, contributing to continuous improvement and reporting.
- Represent Pacific Coastal Airlines with professionalism in all customer and operational interactions.
🌟 What you bring
- Licensing: Valid ATPL (TCCA) and Class 1 Medical
- Total Time: 2,000+ hours
- Pilot-in-Command: 1,000+ hours PIC
- Relevant Experience: 1,000+ hours in multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR, and/or turbine operations within 600/702/703/704/705 operations
- Type Rating: Not required — comprehensive training provided
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC
- Travel: Ability to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
- Communication: Minimum ELP Level 4
🚀 Training and support
Type rating is not required. Successful candidates will receive company-provided training to qualify on the Saab 340, supported by experienced instructors and standardized procedures.
