SA227 Metro Captain – On‑Demand Cargo | Sierra West Airlines (El Paso)

🧭 What you’ll do

• Operate the SA227 in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies/SOPs.
• Conduct safe flights in day, night, and all-weather conditions to transport time-critical cargo.
• Demonstrate professional radio and inter-company communications at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight; safely maneuver on and around the aircraft and ramp.
• Identify, document, and communicate aircraft discrepancies for maintenance review.
• Deliver exemplary customer service while maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support reliable operations.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Unrestricted FAA Commercial Pilot License with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument rating, or an ATP.
• Current Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC).
• Current FAA First Class Medical.
• FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• English proficient; at least 18 years of age.
• Valid passport and driver’s license; eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
• Able to lift up to 120 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft.
• Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and all required background checks.

🌟 Preferred qualifications

• 1,500 TT, 1,000 PIC, 500 ME, 500 cross-country (XC), 100 night.
• SA227 or similar turboprop experience (TPE331).
• Part 135 or 121 experience; prior cargo and/or familiarity with company aircraft highly preferred.
