🧭 Program Overview

Republic Airways’ RJet Cadet Program offers flight students a fast track to an airline career. Eligible students may receive a Conditional Offer of Employment as early as the instrument-rating or commercial-certificate stage and progress toward a First Officer class date on the E170/E175. Interviews run year-round and may be conducted virtually or onsite. With broad base locations and strong mainline partnerships, you’ll build experience while aligning your timeline to the right seat.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Flight Time:
    • R-ATP Pathway: 1,000 or 1,250 hours (requires instrument rating)
    • ATP Pathway: 1,500 hours (requires commercial certificate)
  • Timing to FO Conversion:
    • R-ATP: No more than 700 hours away or less than 6 months from meeting FO conversion minimums
    • ATP: No more than 1,000 hours away or less than 6 months from meeting FO conversion minimums
  • Maximum of one checkride failure
  • FAA First Class Medical (current; lapsed privileges may be accepted at application)
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Resume required with application
  • Ability to read a METAR and TAF, and brief an approach using a Jeppesen chart

🧪 Selection & Interview Process

  • Screening: Year-round, conducted virtually or onsite
  • HR Interview: Review of documents, qualifications, and pilot background with a recruiter
  • Technical Assessment: Conducted with a current Republic Airways pilot; includes METAR/TAF interpretation and a Jeppesen approach briefing
  • Outcome: Conditional Offer of Employment for qualified candidates and priority consideration for a First Officer class date
