Republic Airways is inviting motivated aviators to join the RJet Cadet Program—an entry pathway that pairs you with experienced mentors, modern Embraer E170/E175 training, and a clear runway to the First Officer seat.
✈️ The opportunity
Secure a Conditional Offer of Employment as early as your Instrument Rating or Commercial Certificate stage. As a cadet, you’ll gain priority access to training dates, mentorship from active line pilots, and exclusive networking at our Indianapolis headquarters—all designed to accelerate your transition into a regional airline cockpit.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Transition from flight training to an operational airline cockpit environment.
- Train on and operate Embraer E170/E175 aircraft under supervision.
- Participate in initial training and ongoing proficiency programs.
- Complete a multi-step interview process, including HR screening and a technical evaluation with current pilots.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate (lapsed privileges acceptable).
- No more than one checkride failure.
- Resume attached to application.
- Minimum entry: Commercial Certificate or Instrument Rating.
- R-ATP track (approx. 1000–1250 hrs): Instrument Rating required; no more than 700 hours remaining until First Officer conversion.
- ATP track (1500+ hrs): Commercial Certificate required; no more than 1000 hours remaining until First Officer conversion.
- Able to convert to First Officer in less than 6 months.

📜 Licensing and certifications
- CPL and/or ATPL eligibility as applicable to your track.
