Join Challenge Airlines (BE) and keep high-value cargo moving worldwide. We’re hiring a Reserve Flight-Crew Pilot for our Liège-based Belgian operation, flying daily scheduled services and international charters across a rapidly growing network.

  • Operation: Scheduled and charter cargo (CS-25 widebody)
  • Reports to: Chief Pilot
  • Licences: EASA ATPL or CPL, EASA Class 1 Medical, ICAO English Level 4

✈️ The opportunity

As a Reserve Pilot in our Flight Operations team, you’ll step in to operate safe, efficient widebody cargo missions when duty calls—supporting a mix of scheduled routes and bespoke charters for general and nonstandard goods. You’ll be part of a high-performing crew culture with clear pathways for advancement, including a Captain track for qualified candidates.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Conduct all pre-flight safety and operational checks to the highest standard.
  • Communicate continuously with Air Traffic Control throughout each sector.
  • Monitor cockpit instruments, aircraft systems, and performance parameters.
  • Assess weather, position, and surrounding traffic; request flight-plan changes when required.
  • Ensure flight plans are prepared, submitted, and adhered to with diligence.
  • File accurate flight-trip and aircraft-status reports before and after landing.

🧰 What you bring

  • Minimum 1,000 hours on CS-25 aircraft.
  • Valid EASA ATPL or CPL and EASA Part-Med Class 1 medical.
  • ICAO English language proficiency level 4.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Recent Boeing experience preferred; B777 or B747-400 experience is an asset.

🌟 Captain track (additional requirements)

  • Recent B777 or B747-400 experience.
  • 6,000 hours total time on medium/heavy jets.
  • Either 1,000 hours on type or 3,000 hours PIC on medium/heavy jets.
  • Valid EASA ATPL with current B777 or B747-400 rating, EASA Part-Med Class 1, and ICAO English level 4.
