🧭 The role

As First Officer/Co‑Pilot, you will support the Commander through all phases of flight, ensuring regulatory and company‑procedure compliance, meticulous flight preparation, real‑time monitoring, and accurate post‑flight documentation. You will act under the Commander’s authority and be ready to assume command in their absence while operating across the assigned Group I or Group II aircraft within the ERJ145 and ATR fleet.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Assist the Commander with safe, efficient aircraft operation; carry out assigned duties and assume command if the Commander is absent.
  • At home base, begin each duty day by signing the check‑in register and reviewing/signing applicable Instructions to Flight Crew and Flight Crew Notices.
  • Collect the Flight Envelope and any non‑dispatch documents from Operations Control.
  • Assist with flight logs and preparation/verification of ATC flight plans.
  • Review the Jeppesen Airway Manual; confirm all amendments are current and required charts are available.
  • Verify that all dispatch documents are onboard and correctly signed.
  • During flight, manage tasks as assigned, employ approved checklists for all drills and procedures, and maintain an accurate Flight Log (ATC clearances, times, fuel records).
  • Maintain vigilant collision‑avoidance lookout from the flight deck and support effective crew resource management.
  • Transmit company messages and operational information as required.
  • After landing, assist the Commander in securing the aircraft; complete, sign, and return the Flight Envelope to Operations Control.
  • Report occurrences to the Commander, obtain advisory messages from Operations Control, and brief the crew accordingly.
