✈️ The opportunity
Talon Air is expanding and seeking experienced Captains to serve as Pilot in Command across a modern, diverse business jet fleet. Based out of Farmingdale, New York with the convenience of home-based operations for most assignments, you’ll lead safe, efficient Part 135 charter missions while delivering exceptional service to discerning clients.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate assigned business jet aircraft on Part 135 charter flights as Pilot in Command.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and SOP adherence.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight planning, inspections, and aircraft checks.
- Lead effective crew resource management and safety procedures.
- Complete accurate flight logs, reports, and required documentation.
- Maintain proficiency and currency on assigned aircraft types.
- Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch and flight operations.
- Provide professional, discreet service to charter clients throughout the journey.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license and First Class Medical.
- Minimum 3,500 hours total time (PIC requirement) and 2,000 hours PIC.
- Minimum 1,500 hours multi‑engine land (MEL) PIC.
- Type rating on the assigned aircraft.
- Valid passport and ability to obtain/maintain CANPASS for unrestricted Canada travel.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I – 2.1.10 requirements.
- One year Part 135 experience preferred.
- Clean background check and drug screening; minimum 21 years of age.
