Pilot – Fast-Track to Captain (Miami-Opa Locka Executive, OPF)

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Report ~1 hour prior to departure to review Traxxall status, NOTAMs, fuel, weather, and routing; complete all pre-flight checks and cockpit flows.
• Coordinate departure/arrival strategies and diversion planning with the Captain; serve as a strong, safety-focused secondary voice in the cockpit.
• Operate the aircraft per FAA regulations, JSX SOPs, and industry best practices while communicating with Mission Control/Dispatch, Ground Ops, ATC, and the Flight Attendant.
• Adapt confidently to changing conditions and make sound, timely decisions to protect safety and on-time performance.
• Support quick turns: tidy the cabin, clean tray tables, cross seatbelts, collect trash, and assist the Flight Attendant as needed.
• Record maintenance write-ups in Traxxall and promptly relay critical updates to Mission Control.
• Participate in recurrent training and evaluations; assist with baggage or ground duties where station support is limited.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum flight time: 2,500 fixed-wing total hours; 500 multi-engine hours; 500 turbine PIC hours; 100 hours within the last 12 months.
• Clean record: no FAA violations, accidents, incidents, or suspensions; no significant training or checkride failures.
• Valid FAA pilot certificate appropriate to aircraft/seat, a current FAA First Class Medical, and a current FCC Radio Operator’s Permit.
• Current driver’s license and passport; ability to meet travel and station access requirements.
• Legally authorized to work full-time in the United States (employment-based visa sponsorship not available).

Preferred: 3,000+ total hours, 1,000+ multi-engine hours, and Embraer 135/145 experience.

📜 Licenses & Certifications

• Accepted certificates: ATP (Unrestricted or Restricted) or Commercial Multi-Engine (CPL Multi-Engine).
• Current FAA First Class Medical.
• Current FCC Radio Operator’s Permit.
