  • Base: KMIA (Miami International Airport)
  • Employment: Full‑Time
  • Schedule: On‑call
  • Operation: Managed/Charter
  • Compensation: $50,000–$500,000, depending on geography, experience, and equipment
  • License Required: ATPL

✈️ About the Role

As a Pilatus PC‑24 Captain with Solairus Aviation, you will captain a modern light jet in South Florida on an on‑call basis, ensuring every flight is executed safely, efficiently, and with world‑class professionalism. You’ll be entrusted with leading the aircraft, crew, and passenger experience from preflight through shutdown while upholding company procedures and regulatory standards.

  • Aircraft: Pilatus PC‑24
  • Operations Area: Primarily South Florida with potential domestic/international routing
  • Training: Annual ICAO International Procedures training
  • Residency: Primary residence within 2 hours of KMIA, or willingness to relocate

🧭 Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise full command of the PC‑24, ensuring safe, compliant, and passenger‑focused operations on every leg.
  • Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness; coordinate as required prior to dispatch.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Plan and evaluate routes, weather, NOTAMs, alternates, and performance requirements.
  • Adhere to Solairus policies/procedures and all applicable FARs and international procedures.
  • Safeguard the safety and comfort of passengers, aircraft, and crew; model superior CRM and decision‑making.
  • Accurately complete trip logs and all required operational documentation.
  • Maintain required currency and complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 3,000 hours
  • PIC: 1,500 hours
  • MEL: 1,500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbojet Time: 500 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours
  • Type Rating: PC‑24 or comparable aircraft
  • Medical: First Class Medical
  • License: ATPL
  • Availability: Able to work on an on‑call basis
  • Location: Primary residence within 2 hours of KMIA, or willingness to relocate
