✈️ Role at a Glance
Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced Pilatus PC-24 Captain to support a client-based travel mission from KCOE in the Hayden, Idaho area. You will serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations, accurate trip documentation, and a best-in-class passenger experience. This is a full-time, on-call role ideal for a captain who is comfortable with a commutable arrangement and committed to continuous professional standards, including annual ICAO international procedures training.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Operate the Pilatus PC-24 safely and prudently as PIC on all assigned flights.
- Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Plan each flight, evaluating weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and suitable alternates along the route.
- Ensure full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable FARs.
- Safeguard passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
- Accurately complete all required flight, trip, and operational documentation.
- Maintain currency, including completing annual ICAO international procedures training.
- Support the client’s travel schedule with on-call availability as assigned.
🧰 What You Bring
- Flight experience: 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine; 500 hours multi-engine PIC; 500 hours turbojet; 250 hours instrument.
- Aircraft qualification: Type rated on the Pilatus PC-24 or a comparable aircraft.
- Medical: Current First-Class Medical.
- Training & availability: Able to work on an on-call basis and complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
- Residency: Primary residence within a two-hour drive of a major commercial airport, or willingness to relocate.
- Proven judgment, CRM, and a strong safety and compliance mindset.
