✈️ The opportunity

Command the Pilatus PC‑24 on life‑saving aeromedical and medevac missions, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and care. You’ll make sound, time‑sensitive decisions on flight paths, weather, aircraft performance, and emergency handling while coordinating seamlessly with medical teams and operations.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Lead safe operation of the PC‑24, responsible for the aircraft and all persons on board during flight time.
• Conduct thorough pre‑flight preparation: route, aerodromes, winds, weather, navigation aids, alternates, and aircraft status.
• Operate in full compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), company Operations Manual, Flight Manual, and Certificate of Airworthiness.
• Use and adhere to checklists for all phases of flight; take corrective action whenever safety is jeopardized.
• Coordinate with ATC; follow communications and weather‑reporting procedures.
• Prioritize patient‑appropriate profiles and parameters; document deviations in the Captain’s Trip Report.
• Identify and report known or suspected defects to Maintenance; record findings in the Journey Log.
• Assess weather for unusual conditions; take precautions to protect the aircraft during stopovers.
• Complete and submit documentation: Journey Log, manifests, Captain’s Trip Report, load control forms, fuel slips, and dangerous goods paperwork.
• Notify the appropriate authority of crew location and fulfill Safety Management System (SMS) duties as assigned.

🧰 What you bring

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
• Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours pilot‑in‑command on multi‑engine turbine aircraft.
• Minimum 500 hours multi‑engine time.
• Approximately 100 hours time on type (PC‑24) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations and CARs.
• Medevac/air ambulance experience is an asset.
• Able to obtain a Driving Airside (D/A) permit and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• Valid driver’s licence and passport; able to travel abroad unrestricted.
• Clear current criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Vulnerable Sectors check.
• Indigenous Awareness and/or Cultural Diversity training is an asset.
• Fully vaccinated with a Canadian‑approved COVID‑19 vaccine.

📅 Schedule & working environment

• Rotational schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off.
• Operations into remote and challenging fields requiring high skill and adaptability.
• Work performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather.
• Physical demands include lifting, sitting, standing, and climbing; able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
