  • Schedule: Rostered 4 days per week
  • License required: CPL (FAA Commercial ASEL with Instrument)
  • Medical: FAA First Class
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

🧭 The mission

Fly the Pilatus PC-12 as part of a professional two-pilot crew, delivering safe, on-time, and customer-focused operations across Tradewind’s network. You’ll blend disciplined airmanship with warm, attentive service—every leg, every day.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Operate the PC-12 in accordance with company SOPs and all FAA/DOT regulations under Part 135.
  • Execute precise IFR procedures and sound decision-making in a multi-crew environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Captain for flight planning, performance, and risk management.
  • Interact professionally with clients, delivering a premium, hospitality-driven experience.
  • Manage cockpit resources and avionics systems; Garmin 430 familiarity is a plus.
  • Complete pre/post-flight duties, documentation, and safety/compliance requirements.

🌟 What you’ll bring

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and passport.
  • FAA First Class Medical.
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL).
  • FAA Instrument Rating.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Current IFR knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Basic MS Office/computer and internet proficiency.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Pass a DOT/FAA compliant pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Good moral character and professional judgment.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to relocate and live within 90 minutes of an operating base (CT, NY, or PR).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

🧩 Preferred experience

  • 800 hours total time preferred (reduced for United/JetBlue participants).
  • 75 hours night time preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Garmin 430 avionics preferred.
