OCC Pilot Trainee (m/f/d) – Guaranteed Type Rating (Cessna 425)

✈️ About the opportunity

Aerowest GmbH is a Hannover-based executive charter, air ambulance, and cargo operator. We’re offering a unique entry route for aspiring professional pilots: spend your first 9–12 months mastering the airline heartbeat in our Operations Control Center (OCC), then transition to the cockpit with a guaranteed type rating on the Cessna 425 Conquest (or another company type as operationally required). You’ll fly executive charter and ambulance missions across Europe as part of a tight-knit, service-driven team.

🧭 Your first 9–12 months: OCC foundations

• Operative flight planning and day-of-ops support
• Flight plan filing and monitoring
• Fuel planning and uplift coordination
• Airport and handling coordination across Europe
• Point of contact for quotations and customer care
• Crew rostering, duty and travel planning
• Commercial and administrative tasks that keep operations moving

This phase gives you a 360° understanding of dispatch, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations—skills that make you a safer, smarter pilot.

🧰 Into the cockpit: your flying phase

• Guaranteed type rating on the Cessna 425 Conquest (or other company type as needed)
• Executive charter and air ambulance missions across Europe
• Structured block roster 7/3 (mindestens 108 Ortstage p.a.)
• Hands-on mentorship and real-world multi-sector operations

• Valid EASA CPL (IR) with ATPL(A) theory credit
• Fluent German and English skills
• Flexibility, strong service mindset, and high commitment
• Excellent manners and a well-groomed, professional appearance
• Class B driver’s license
• No prior commercial flight experience required
