✈️ The Mission
Root Aviation Ltd is seeking experienced multi-engine turboprop Captains and First Officers for a long-term aerial firefighting and oil spill response operation. You’ll fly challenging, purpose-driven missions that protect communities and environments.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Operate multi-engine turboprop aircraft in aerial firefighting and oil spill response roles.
- Conduct low-level survey, reconnaissance, and dispersant/suppressant application missions as required.
- Adhere to ICAO procedures, company SOPs, and the highest safety standards.
- Work within a rotational schedule and deploy rapidly to active incidents.
- Support readiness, training, and post-mission reporting.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Experience (mandatory): Firefighting, survey, crop dusting, or oil spill operations.
- License: ICAO CPL with Instrument Rating.
- Medical: First Class Medical.
- English Proficiency: ELP Level 5 or higher.
- Record: No accident/incident history.
- Age: Under 50 at time of application.
Captain (PIC)
- Minimum 3,000 hours total time
- Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on any multi-engine turboprop
First Officer (SIC)
- Minimum 1,000 hours total time
- Minimum 500 hours SIC on any multi-engine turboprop
