Join a mission-driven flight department that brings patients to the next level of care. As a Learjet SIC/First Officer on our fixed-wing air ambulance team, you’ll fly purposefully, operate professionally, and make a direct difference when it matters most.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Second in Command on Learjet air ambulance missions, ensuring safe, efficient transport of patients and medical crews.
  • Operate across variable duty assignments, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adapt quickly to changing operational requirements while maintaining the highest standards of airmanship and crew coordination.
  • Uphold security and compliance requirements (TSA, airport authority, and U.S. Customs procedures).
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communicate clearly with crew, dispatch, medical teams, and stakeholders.
  • Meet the physical requirement to lift and move 50+ pounds as mission needs dictate.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Minimum total time: 1,000 hours.
  • Certificates & ratings: Commercial Pilot License with Instrument and Multi-Engine (CPL/Instrument/MEL).
  • Medical: Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • Authorizations: Authorization to work in the United States and travel internationally without restriction; valid passport.
  • Permits & IDs: FCC Radio Operator Permit; valid state driver’s license; ability to pass TSA background screening and obtain required airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.
  • Professional skills: Clear oral and written communication; flexibility for day/night duty slots across all days; poised under rapidly changing conditions.
  • Preferred (not required): 100 hours in turbine or multi-engine aircraft; Part 135 or flight-instructor experience; Learjet or similar type experience.
  • Documents to upload with application: Passport, pilot license, FCC Radio Operator Permit, First-Class Medical, and driver’s license.
