Join a professional flight operation in South Florida as a Learjet 60 First Officer. This is a permanent position for safety-focused aviators who are ready to grow on a high-performance midsize jet. Non–type-rated pilots are encouraged to apply — type training is provided.
🧭 The Opportunity
As a Learjet 60 First Officer, you will fly a proven, high-performance platform while sharpening your skills in a disciplined, safety-first environment. You will collaborate with an experienced Captain, uphold best-in-class standards, and represent the flight department with professionalism on every mission.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot Monitoring and support the PIC in all phases of flight, from preflight to shutdown.
- Execute accurate flight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance.
- Operate to the highest safety standards, adhering to SOPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate strong CRM, clear communication, and sound decision-making under IFR and VMC/IMC conditions.
- Complete initial and recurrent training; maintain currency and proficiency on type.
- Deliver a polished, customer-focused experience for crew and passengers alike.
🌟 What You Bring
- Minimum 1,500 hours total time.
- Current FAA CPL with IR and ME.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical.
- Ability to lawfully enter Canada.
- No history of accidents or incidents; no violations or FAA administrative actions.
- Residence in the South Florida / Fort Lauderdale area, within one hour of KFXE.
- Professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset.
🎓 Training & Progression
Non–type-rated candidates are welcome. A Learjet 60 type rating will be provided as part of your onboarding and recurrent training program, supporting your progression and long-term success on type.
📍 Base & Lifestyle
This role is based in South Florida with a home base at Fort Lauderdale Executive (KFXE). Candidates must be willing to reside within one hour for operational readiness, training, and dispatch reliability.
