Join Jetvia as a Learjet 60 Captain and lead every flight with safety, precision, and polished service. As the Pilot in Command, you are the final authority on the aircraft, supervising the First Officer and crew, serving as the Inflight Security Coordinator, and representing Jetvia with executive charter clients. This is a home-based role with no relocation required.

✈️ Your mission

Provide safe, technically accurate air transportation and deliver an exceptional guest experience aboard the Lear 60 for Jetvia’s executive charter clientele. Exercise full PIC authority, ensure regulatory and SOP compliance, and maintain a professional presence with passengers and crew.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Act as Pilot in Command and final authority for all phases of flight in accordance with FAA regulations and Jetvia SOPs.
  • Lead thorough flight planning, including weather assessments, route selection, alternates, and performance considerations.
  • Calculate and verify weight and balance, fuel requirements, and aircraft performance data.
  • Conduct comprehensive preflight inspections and ensure the aircraft’s professional appearance.
  • Greet guests, deliver concise safety briefings, and provide a refined service experience.
  • Supervise and direct the First Officer; coordinate duties with assigned crew.
  • Serve as the Inflight Security Coordinator, safeguarding passengers, crew, and aircraft.
  • Identify and communicate maintenance discrepancies; complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Operate safely from taxi to takeoff and landing, adapting to changing conditions and dynamic schedules.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate (Unrestricted).
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total time, including 500 hours multi-engine.
  • Learjet 60 Type Rating with at least 300 hours Lear 60 PIC time.
  • Ability to work variable schedules: days, nights, weekends, and rotating holidays.
  • Residence within driving distance of a Jetvia crew base.

🌟 Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3,000+ hours total time and 1,000+ hours multi-engine.
  • Previous Part 135 PIC experience.
