✈️ The Opportunity
As Pilot in Command on the Learjet 60, you'll set the standard for safety, professionalism, and service. You'll execute a dynamic schedule across Part 91 and 135 missions, mentor the SIC, and represent the operation with poise and care from preflight to passenger farewell.
🧭 What you'll do
- Serve as PIC on LR60 for Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter missions.
- Champion safety and regulatory compliance, including all 14 CFR Part 91/135 procedures.
- Plan and execute flights: performance, weight and balance, weather, fuel, alternates, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate with dispatch and maintenance; ensure aircraft readiness and timely turnarounds.
- Deliver outstanding customer service; develop a friendly rapport with passengers and crew.
- Train and mentor the SIC to properly perform their functions and uphold SOPs.
- Represent the operation with professional appearance, communication, and etiquette.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Valid, current FAA-issued pilot certificate (CPL with IR and ME).
- No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past 5 years.
- Knowledge of general aviation aircraft, their service requirements, and crew/passenger needs.
- Ability to train and coach the SIC to a high professional standard.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional in appearance and mannerisms; strong initiative and attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
- Able to pass a drug screening and background check; clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED.
🌟 Minimum flying experience
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- PIC Time: 1,500 hours
💡 Preferred qualifications
- Current LR60 Type Rating.
- Current Part 135.293/297 in type.
- Recent training at FlightSafety International (FSI) or CAE SimuFlite.
