Bring your precision flying to missions that matter. Airmedic, a leading corporate and business aviation operator in Montreal, is hiring an experienced First Officer to fly the Learjet LR-45 on time-critical medical transport missions across Canada and beyond.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the Learjet LR-45 on medical transport and corporate missions with a strong safety mindset.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, performance planning, and systems checks.
- Execute all phases of flight in IFR operations using robust crew resource management.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Learjet 45/XR systems and Airmedic-specific SOPs.
- Complete flight documentation, reports, and post-flight debriefs accurately and on time.
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and changing operational priorities while delivering exceptional service.
🧰 What you bring
Must-haves
- Minimum 750 total flight hours.
- Minimum 250 hours multi‑engine time.
- Minimum 500 hours IFR experience.
- Valid Canadian CPL with IR and ME.
- SAMRA/SARON authorization.
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Level 5 and ICAO French Level 5 proficiency.
- Valid PPC as First Officer on Learjet LR‑45.
- Valid passport with unrestricted authorization to travel outside Canada.
- Eligibility for a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Clean criminal record.
- Ability to work 14 consecutive days with shifts up to 14 hours.
Preferred
- 250+ hours turboprop or jet experience.
- Previous First Officer time on Learjet 40 XR.
- Experience on Learjet 40/45/70/75 series.

📍 Bases and schedule
You’ll be based primarily at Montreal’s YUL/St‑Hubert airports, with willingness to support operations at satellite bases as required. Expect a predictable 14/7 roster with operational flexibility to meet mission demands.
