Learjet 45 Captain (Type Rating Provided)

✈️ The Opportunity

As a Learjet 45 Captain, you will lead safe, compliant, and passenger-focused operations while collaborating closely with a professional crew and support teams. You will set the tone for safety, CRM, and service excellence from preflight planning to shutdown, and you will maintain pristine training and records in accordance with federal regulations, including the FAA Pilot Records Database.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Command Learjet 45 operations with uncompromising adherence to company SOPs and all applicable regulations.
• Execute thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and risk assessments.
• Demonstrate exemplary Crew Resource Management, mentoring crewmembers and fostering a just safety culture.
• Deliver a premium passenger experience with clear communication, discretion, and professionalism.
• Maintain currency, training, and qualifications; complete recurrent training and checks on schedule.
• Accurately maintain and disclose pilot training and experience history per FAA PRD requirements.
• Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch, maintenance, and flight operations to ensure on-time, mission-ready aircraft.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

• Total time: 2,500+ hours (excludes simulator and/or Flight Engineer time)
• PIC time: 1,000+ hours
• Multi-engine: 1,000+ hours
• Jet time: 500+ hours
• Multicrew: 500+ hours
• License: ATP (FAA)
• Medical: First Class
• Radiotelephone: Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Docs & Travel: Valid U.S. driver’s license; valid passport; able to travel unrestricted to/from the United States
• Training Path: Type rating not required (training provided). Must have the knowledge, skills, and ability to upgrade to Captain in a very short period of time.

🌟 Preferred Experience

• Learjet 45 type rating
• Learjet 45 Captain experience
• Previous U.S. Part 135 or Part 121 experience

🔐 Compliance & Eligibility

• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
• Must pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and employer background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ensure all pilot training history is accurately maintained and disclosed in accordance with FAA PRD regulations.
