Learjet 45 Captain – Charter & Air Ambulance (2/2 Roster)

🧭 Your mission

• Command Learjet 45 charter and air ambulance flights with full responsibility for crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft safety.
• Exercise sound PIC decision-making from preflight planning through post-flight, maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and FAA regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with medical teams and ground operations to deliver timely, compassionate, and professional service.
• Promote a just culture and continuous improvement mindset across all phases of operation.
• Represent Kalitta Charters to clients and stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Certificates: Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating; First Class Medical; FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Experience: 2,000+ hours total time and 1,000+ hours multi-engine. Learjet 45 type rating preferred.
• Eligibility: Valid, unrestricted U.S. passport and driver’s license; able to pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Readiness: Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and full shifts; must be based in Ypsilanti, MI (no remote option).
• Capabilities: Able to lift up to 75 lbs; proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
