Join a well-run, Midwest-based Part 91 corporate flight department as the Lead Captain on a Citation Longitude and set the standard for safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.

  • Location: Midwest, United States (relocation to aircraft base required)
  • Operation: Part 91 Corporate Flight Department (placement via JAW Aviation Consulting)
  • Aircraft: Cessna Citation Longitude (C700 / CE-700)
  • Annual utilization: Approximately 250–300 flight hours
  • Compensation: Up to $230,000 base, depending on experience

  • Reports to: Director of Aviation

🧭 The opportunity

As Lead Captain and PIC, you will champion safety, professionalism, and service on every mission. You will lead day-to-day flight operations on the Citation Longitude, ensure regulatory and company compliance, and partner closely with the Director of Aviation on trip planning, risk management, and continuous improvement.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Citation Longitude as PIC with uncompromising adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
  • Plan and execute domestic and international missions, optimizing performance, fuel, and routing.
  • Lead crew coordination, mentoring, and standardization across the flight department.
  • Maintain training, currency, and documentation to FAA and company standards.
  • Oversee trip logistics and deliver discreet, high-touch passenger service.
  • Support safety management and continuous improvement initiatives.

🌟 What you’ll bring

  • FAA ATP with Multi-Engine rating; CE-700 type rating required.
  • Minimum 4,000 total time and 3,000 PIC.
  • Minimum 500 hours in the Citation Longitude.
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • International Procedures training within the last 24 months.
  • Valid passport (no restrictions) and driver’s license.
  • No FAA violations or enforcements; English proficient.
  • Reside at, or be willing to relocate to, the aircraft base.

💡 Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2,000+ hours in jet aircraft.
