Join a well-run, Midwest-based Part 91 corporate flight department as the Lead Captain on a Citation Longitude and set the standard for safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
🧭 The opportunity
As Lead Captain and PIC, you will champion safety, professionalism, and service on every mission. You will lead day-to-day flight operations on the Citation Longitude, ensure regulatory and company compliance, and partner closely with the Director of Aviation on trip planning, risk management, and continuous improvement.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Operate the Citation Longitude as PIC with uncompromising adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
- Plan and execute domestic and international missions, optimizing performance, fuel, and routing.
- Lead crew coordination, mentoring, and standardization across the flight department.
- Maintain training, currency, and documentation to FAA and company standards.
- Oversee trip logistics and deliver discreet, high-touch passenger service.
- Support safety management and continuous improvement initiatives.
🌟 What you’ll bring
- FAA ATP with Multi-Engine rating; CE-700 type rating required.
- Minimum 4,000 total time and 3,000 PIC.
- Minimum 500 hours in the Citation Longitude.
- Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- International Procedures training within the last 24 months.
- Valid passport (no restrictions) and driver’s license.
- No FAA violations or enforcements; English proficient.
- Reside at, or be willing to relocate to, the aircraft base.
💡 Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2,000+ hours in jet aircraft.
