✈️ The Opportunity

As Captain, you hold final authority for the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of missions transporting company executives and guests. You will lead highly capable flight crews, model disciplined airmanship and Crew Resource Management (CRM), and actively contribute to the department’s Safety Management System (SMS) and continuous improvement initiatives.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) with final authority and responsibility for assigned flights.
• Conduct domestic and international operations in full compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and applicable international requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise flight crew members; promote effective CRM and a positive safety culture.
• Plan and oversee all flight preparation: flight planning, performance and runway analysis, weather and NOTAM review, fuel planning, aircraft readiness, publications/equipment currency, and airport suitability.
• Manage international requirements including customs, immigration, permits, and overflight/landing authorizations.
• Ensure all required flight documentation is complete, accurate, and current prior to departure.
• Participate in SMS activities including hazard identification, safety reporting, and continuous improvement.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

• Certificates/Medical: FAA ATP (Unrestricted) and current FAA First Class Medical.
• Flight Experience: 5,000 hours total time, including 3,000 hours PIC and 2,000 hours multi-engine turbine; large-cabin Gulfstream experience strongly preferred.
• Type Rating: Current type rating in at least one aircraft operated by the department, or the ability to obtain upon hire.
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with eight years’ experience, or Master’s degree with six years’ experience.
• Operational Excellence: Proven international operations experience, strong judgment, and exemplary CRM/SMS engagement.
• Location: Reside within 2.5 hours of San Jose, CA or be willing to relocate.
