✈️ King Air ISR Captain – Multi‑Sensor Mission Lead
Reporting to the Head of Flight Operations, the King Air Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Captain leads assigned flight and mission crews to safely execute deployed multi‑sensor ISR missions in support of contracts with the U.S. Government, allies, and partners. You will champion operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and mission success in dynamic and contested environments—delivering safe, reliable, effective, efficient, and continuously improving flight operations.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) of King Air aircraft for multi‑sensor ISR missions, leading flight and mission crews from planning through debrief.
- Ensure full compliance with FAR (with emphasis on 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91) and company policies, including SMS and risk management frameworks.
- Conduct thorough weather analysis, flight planning, performance calculations, and flight following using modern tools and systems.
- Exercise decisive crew resource management (CRM) to maintain safety, efficiency, and mission effectiveness in changing operational contexts.
- Coordinate seamlessly with operations, maintenance, and mission system teams; communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain meticulous logs, reports, and records to meet regulatory, contractual, and company standards.
- Model a continuous‑improvement mindset—adapting tactics, techniques, and procedures to enhance mission outcomes.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- License: FAA CPL with IR and ME.
- Medical: FAA Class 2.
- Flight time: 1,000 hours PIC and 100 hours multi‑engine.
- Experience: At least 2 years of operational experience in civil or military aviation environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or 4+ years of equivalent aviation experience.
- Solid understanding of FARs (especially 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91).
- Working knowledge of Aviation Management Systems, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and risk management frameworks.
- Proficiency in aviation weather analysis, flight planning, and flight following tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Teams for coordination.
- Applicants must meet all FAA records and background requirements, including an acceptable review of the FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD).
- Current passport and current U.S. driver’s license.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
🌟 Preferred
- Type rated in BE‑200 and/or BE‑300.
- FAA CFI, CFII, and MEI; or graduate of a U.S. Military Flight Instructor Training Program.
