✈️ The Opportunity
Step into the left seat of a King Air and deliver safe, reliable air service across Canada’s North. If you thrive in dynamic environments, make sound decisions, and take pride in polished airmanship and client service, this permanent Captain role is an excellent next step.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the King Air safely and efficiently in northern, remote, and cold-weather environments (IFR/VFR, day/night).
- Execute thorough flight planning, including performance, fuel, alternates, and weather for northern routes and short/gravel strips as applicable.
- Uphold company SOPs, SMS, CRM/TEM best practices, and all applicable CARs.
- Deliver professional, client-focused service in line with established client standards.
- Complete accurate operational paperwork, journey logs, and reports.
- Participate in initial and recurrent training, proficiency checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to ensure on-time, safe operations.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 1,500+ hours
- PIC time: 500+ hours
- Multi-engine: 500+ hours
- Turbine: 500+ hours
- License: ATPL (TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 minimum
🌟 Additional requirements
- Current and valid passport.
- Able to obtain a Transport Canada RAIC.
- Demonstrated knowledge of northern flying operations.
- Must meet requirements established by client standards.
- Open to TCCA license holders only; visa sponsorship is not provided.
- This is a safety-sensitive position: candidates must test negative for controlled substances and alcohol prior to employment.
Type Rating: Not required; full aircraft training provided.
