Join Triton Airways as a King Air 350 Captain and lead safe, on-time operations while delivering a private-club-level passenger experience. You’ll exercise full command authority, collaborate closely with maintenance, and represent our safety-first culture on every flight.
✈️ The Mission
Operate company-owned and managed aircraft as Pilot in Command, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and convenient journey for every passenger while upholding the highest aviation safety standards.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Serve as PIC on the King Air 350, exercising command authority to ensure timely, decisive operations.
- Plan and execute flights in accordance with domestic and international regulations, FAA-approved company procedures, and industry best practices.
- Determine routes, speeds, and takeoff/landing times to meet schedule requirements and passenger expectations.
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections for safety, fuel, oil, and water; confirm maintenance status and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to analyze, resolve, and document aircraft discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and logs; ensure compliance with pilot warranty requirements, aircraft insurance provisions, licensing, and currency.
- Continuously monitor regulatory updates and maintain proficiency across all required examinations and flight checks.
🧰 What You’ll Bring
- Certificates & Medical: FAA ATP (Unrestricted or Restricted), Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings; current FAA First Class Medical; valid driver’s license.
- Type & Experience: King Air 200/300/350 type rating; recent King Air experience within the last 24 months; minimum 500 hours turbine-engine flight time.
- Compliance & Record: Successful completion of all required FAA exams and proficiency checks; U.S. citizenship; clean record free of incidents, accidents, FAA actions, or suspensions.
- Leadership & Culture: Ability to promote and implement action plans; enthusiastic and engaged attitude; mentor and inspire subordinates; lead by example; strong teamwork and a self-motivated, results-focused mindset.
Preferred: PT6-series engine experience.
🌟 Schedule & Base
Primary Base: Lexington, Kentucky
- 8/6 schedule for Lexington-based pilots.
- 15/13 schedule for pilots operating from their home base.
