🧭 Your mission
- Plan and execute air ambulance flights in accordance with company procedures, FAA regulations, and aircraft flight manuals.
- Obtain and interpret flight briefings covering mission purpose, weather, operating procedures, and special instructions.
- Lead and supervise crewmembers to ensure thorough flight planning, preparation, and adherence to SOPs.
- Oversee loading and distribution of patients, passengers, and cargo; verify weight and balance within limits using approved methods/tools.
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and promptly with crew, medical teams, dispatch, clients, vendors, and ground personnel.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; represent the company with the highest standards of safety and service.
- Safely transport patients on fixed-wing missions while exercising sound judgment and captaincy at all times.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Minimum 2,000 hours total pilot time in fixed‑wing aircraft.
- FAA Commercial with Instrument and MEL, plus ATP (unrestricted or restricted).
- Current First‑Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Valid passport; unrestricted ability to travel internationally; U.S. work authorization.
- Ability to pass TSA background screening and obtain required airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.
- Required: Air‑carrier flight experience in turbojet aircraft or two‑pilot crew operations.
- Required: Learjet or similar aircraft experience.
- Preferred (not required): 1,000 hours turbine PIC or multi‑engine time; Part 135 or flight‑instructor experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Operations Manual, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, flight manuals, and related operating procedures.
